Muslims Properly Dealt With

Once upon a time there lived a great American Hero by the name of John J. "BlackJack" Pershing. It seems there was a small problem with muslims in the Phillippines. Capturing 50 of these so-called warriors, the great general tied up these dogs to poles and butchered pigs in front of them, took bullets and dipped them in the blood of the swine and shot 49 of them between the eyes, then buried the bodies along with the pig guts. The one remaining muslim was released to go back to his village and tell them what became of their brothers. No heaven with virgins for the dead, only hell awaited them. I think its damn time to revive this treatment of muslim crap and forget about the waterboarding that everyone seems so ashamed of.

From what I've read, that never happened. Never been proven to have happened and is just an urban legend. So, he'll have a hard time explaining any of it.

Who would have guessed that you wouldn't think this happened? How did he bring order to that area?

That's because it never and almost every historian doesn't think it did either. Nothing but a fable that's been passed down. You won't find it in his biographies and it doesn't match up at all with how Pershing worked. He didn't believe in any unnecessary killing and always used it as a last resort, he even wrote letters of apology when he had to. And he would surround them and wait them out until they surrendered, it worked. Again, something like that would completely go against his character..it never happened, or atleast not by Pershing.

Given ,it is probably not true...but why were the US Army there to start with?
